Sound Studies is a music studio run with the lived experiences of our owners, employees, and students in mind and a true passion for serving these and other marginalized communities. Our studio will continue to strive to be a well educated, inclusive, and warm place for all.

Our students and teachers are given freedom to learn and teach in creative ways. While we give technical instruction, our hope is to adapt to our students learning styles and teach them a deeper appreciation and understanding of our subjects. 

What We Do

Classes & Lessons

  • For students ages 4 to 12! Regardless of whatever instrument they would like to develop, there are many musical concepts and skills that must be tackled first. These classes are a fantastic way to get those skills and begin to familiarize themselves with our instruments. Jump in and get started in a fun and warm environment!

  • Whether you are wanting to play Beethoven or your favorite pop song, our teachers are here to guide you in your musical journey; we accept students ages 4 and up of any ability! Our teachers tailor these lessons to the student; we use several different curriculums, teaching styles and resources to make sure every student is getting the music education that is right for them!

  • For students beginner to intermediate, students 7 and up! Classical, acoustic, electric, lead, rhythm and bass guitar, we make a tailored curriculum to develop each student to thrive in their unique style of guitar!

  • For students beginner to advanced, students 4 and up! You will find all the styles of vocals with our teachers. From opera to musical theatre to Chappell Roan, our teachers are here to advance your vocal ability and confidence. Our teachers tailor these lessons to the student; with different teaching styles and musical backgrounds, every student is getting the growth for them to bloom into their voice!

  • These lessons are for students 4 and up of any level! We believe that, especially in Texas, learning one language is enhanced by reinforcing the other. Whether students are Spanish or English native-speaker, these classes are designed for mastering both! 

    We tailor these lessons to the student; we use several different curriculums, teaching styles and resources to make sure every student is getting the language education that is right for them!
